The Homeware Shop Playmat Review

The Homeware Shop are one of the fastest growing family based homeware sellers of kitchen, bathroom, gardening, homeware and DIY products in the UK. They are currently extending their range into seasonal products, including gifts and toys.

They very kindly sent us their 9 Piece EVA Interlocking Section Playmat to review.

Upon arrival I noticed that it was in a cellophane wrap. If I'm honest, I would have preferred something like a ziplock reusable case so that I have somewhere to store the mat once I take it up and put it away.

Once I opened the pack, I noticed that the tiles are quite thick. We have wooden flooring throughout our house and as C is learning to walk and is getting faster and faster with crawling, he does bump his head a lot. This mat really cushions the blow.

You get 9 pieces (29.5cm x 29.5 cm each) for a great price of £6 and you can always buy another set to slot into your existing pieces if you want to extend your playmat or perhaps cover your entire playroom.

The pieces slot together really easily and they just as easily come apart again. Definitely a must for babies and toddlers on the go!

(Disclaimer: I received this mat free of charge in exchange for an open and honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.)
