Laura from My Life as a Mummy really made me smile by nominating me for the Super Sweet Blogging Award. It feels fab to be acknowledged as my little blog is only a baby!
Check out her blog if you haven't already. She writes brilliantly & I'm sure most of you will be able to relate to some of her posts.
Thank you so much for nominating me, Laura.
The official rules are as follows:
1. Visit and thank the blogger who nominated you.
2. Acknowledge that blogger on your blog and link back.
3. Answer the 'Super Sweet' questions.
4. Nominate a 'Bakers Dozen' (award 13 blogs), link to their blogs in your post and notify them of their blogs. It's ok if you don't have 13 blogs to nominate, just share the love!
5. Copy and paste the award on your blog somewhere.
Super Sweet Questions:
Cookies or Cake?
Cookies...preferably double chocolate chip with fudge pieces!
Chocolate or Vanilla?
Chocolate. I can't stand vanilla. The scent, taste, eugh. Turns my stomach!
What is your favourite sweet treat?
I had a strange obsession with Polo mints for around 6 years. I just HAD to eat between 2-4 packs a day. I then fell pregnant and they became an aversion and I haven't touched them since! Now though, I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or cherry bakewells!
When do you crave sweet things the most?
I always feel the need for something sweet after dinner. A cup of sweet tea usually settles it.
If you had a sweet nickname, what would it be?
I'm not sure about this one to be honest! I don't think my name calls for any sort of sweet nickname. I'll maybe ask the Mr and get back to you on that one!

ReplyDelete:) xx
ReplyDeleteYes, lovely post, although I've never understood the appeal of polo mints, although I can definitely go with the chocolate. Thanks for the nomination. I'll check out the rules and think about sweet things...though my secret cravings usually involve cheese!
ReplyDeleteWon't let me reply for some reason Sarah, I'm not sure how the polo mint thing started! I think I was about 14 and i just chewed them like they were going out of fashion. I always had brilliant teeth but I ended up needed two fillings because of the "addiction" lol. Kinda glad pregnancy got rid of them for me!
ReplyDeleteAh nice post, thanks for nominating me.I'm sure i'll give it a go (being a cupcake after all!) I'll let you know! :) Lovely blog, i shall find you on bloglovin x
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nomination - very sweet! Working on the questions!... and daydreaming about raspberry and chocolate cheesecake! x
ReplyDeleteWon't let me reply still - I'll have to look into this!
ReplyDeleteHannah - no problem, my little contact button on the sidebar should take you there :) x
blueberetmum - no problem, i'm desperately NEEDING cookies now! x
ahh thanks Rebecca - that is so "sweet" of you to think of us (pardon the pun!) We still have a few of these things to catch up on from last year - so hopefully when we get around to those, will also do this one too. Just finding life rather too hectic to blog properly at the moment. thanks again xxx
